The exhibition was due to one of the circumstances that is occurring the most on the Catalan coast, the presence of Russian tourism. This type of visitors from one of the countries with the greatest cultural tradition in Europe has increased the sales of local artists. The painter from Tossa de Mar (whose website can also be consulted in Russian) sold more than twenty works to a Russian citizen who, enthusiastic about the work, organized a thematic exhibition in Saint Petersburg.
This fact has produced greater interest among new visitors in the work of the well-known Costa Brava artist.
