The field was inaugurated in 1966 to promote tourism in the area and become a point of reference in l'Empordí. The beauty of the natural environment in which it is located and the proximity of coastal towns such as l'Estartit o l'Escala They have turned it into one of the most visited golf clubs in Catalonia.
The field has eighteen holes (par 73) and 6.222 meters. The route is very technical, with a British appearance. It requires precision in the shots, especially at the beginning, since its course is surrounded by pine trees and bunkers.
