We walked between two important towns in the Costa Brava following the GR 92. The route between Tossa y Lloret coincides with section 11 of this GR.
Approach:
We arrived to Tossa de Mar from the N-II or the A-7/E-15 motorway and taking the C-35. From here, the GI-681 road takes us to Tossa.
Home:
We must go to the bus station, to continue along Pelegrí avenue and La Guí rdia street. We are now on the GR, which follows the street until it finds the Tower of the Moors. The GR continues along the path to the left, uphill.

We go through the Santos Suros and we arrive at The Cars. At the end of the climb, around kilometer 1,2, we follow the main track until we find a television repeater, which we leave on the right. After 2,5 km we come out onto the Lloret road (GE-682), which we follow for 2,2 km. Coinciding with its 16.800 kilometer point, we leave it to take the path to the left, which goes down. We continue through the streets of an urbanization, to the left. Around kilometer 5,7, the dirt road becomes paved until kilometer 6,2, where we turn left towards Moorish Cove. At km 6,650 we reach Can Juncadella. We surround the property and take the path to the right, leaving the access to the farm on the left. Here we may have problems finding the path again. At km 7 we come to a residential area. We then take the dirt road that goes down and we continue, to the left, along Gí¨nova street, which is paved and which leads us to Canyelles cove, passing through the United Nations Square. We turn right and, before reaching the marina, we go up the stairs on the right. At the end, we continue along Franí§a street to the left. We find a tunnel that we must not go through, but we have to continue along the Ronda de Europa in the direction of a restaurant. From here we continue along Calle de Anglaterra and, after 100 m, we take the path to the left and then turn right. We then find an unpaved road that we follow until we pass the entrance to the La Llevantina urbanization, which is on the left, and we take the cement road that goes down to the right. Km 9,8: we advance along the path that leads to the Cala Tortuga urbanization; After 400 m, a small path takes us to the Mongoda urbanization. We follow Costa de Llevant street and go down; then we take, to the left, the street Gavines and, next, the one of the Turtle. Some stairs go down from here to the sea, to the coastal path, which continues along the Lloret de Mar promenade.

Taking advantage of the fact that we are on the GR 92, we can extend the route by doing section 10 (Sant Feliu de Guixols – Tossa de Mar) or 12 (Lloret de Mar – Tordera).
Curiosities:
Tossa de Mar It is one of the most mythical towns on the Costa Brava. The Vila Vella (old town) is located within a walled enclosure from the XNUMXth-XNUMXth centuries, with various cylindrical towers that have survived to this day in fairly good condition. The town was an important artistic center in the XNUMXs and still retains this atmosphere today. In its municipal Museum there are works by great authors, such as Marc Chagall.
Lloret de Mar, in addition to being one of the most important tourist centers in Spain, preserves places of great interest, such as the Iberian town of Puig de Castellet, the romantic gardens of Saint Clotilde, castle, several Indian houses or the Hermitage of Sant Quirze, dated to the eleventh century. The two towns are home to some of the best coves on the Costa Brava.
Observations and recommendations:
This route runs between several urbanizations. Despite the existence of GR signs, the many streets and forks to take can make us hesitate on more than one occasion. Tossa and Lloret are perfectly communicated by public transport, through a regular bus line. Although the route is not linear, we should have no problem getting back to the starting point. An ideal place not only to live all year round but to be able to work or teleworking in Barcelona, from the distance; enjoyed this way all year round in this coastal town with all the services available to the citizen.
